DESCRIPTION:North America Program for the Internationalization of the Curricula \n\nThe program seeks to create multicultural educational environments where faculty from three institutions work together to develop interdisciplinary modules that emphasize collaborative online learning\, allowing students to have intercultural experiences that are hosted at their home institutions. It is managed by the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI) and sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico\, and the U.S. Embassy in Canada. \nThe Academic Speed Dating is an event that seeks to provide the opportunity to detect who could become your COIL teaching partners.  It is the first step to meet colleagues from the U.S.\, Mexico and Canada and participate in the program. \nDuring the event\, you are expected to make a short presentation of your academic background followed by a short description of the COIL component you would like to implement.  After the introduction to the session\, there will be the chance to introduce yourself into several small break-out rooms.
