Representatives from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea along with representatives from the Korean Ministry of Education’s National Institute for International Education visited the Texas Intensive English Program (TIEP) in March as part of an annual site visit for its Korea Work, English Study, Travel (WEST) program.

Thirteen students from Nihon University in Tokyo, Japan devoted their school break to a four-week intensive English language and American culture program at TIEP, February 3 – March 3, 2018.  

TIEC conducted a professional development program for 25 Uruguayan secondary and elementary public school educators, January 3 to February 17, 2018, under the auspices of the Uruguay Fulbright Commission.

TIEC facilitated its 17th annual Fulbright American Studies Program for nine Korean secondary school teachers of English on January 1 – February 16, 2018.
